Litany of the Family
I think it is fun to see Andrea do things and say phrases similar to her cousins when they were her age. Andrea has started the litany of the family after we lay her down at night: "Du mama and du dada and du baby and papa." It feels like it was only weeks ago that Gina was telling me how Emma would do this in her crib. I'm sure as Andrea learns more names you will all be prayed for over and over again from her little crib.
Counting
Andrea is counting now. " one, du, twee...bive...tin." She even put words together and counted with one-to-one correspondence. "1, 2 cars. 1,2 cars," while pointing to the 2 cars in the driveway. Now that we've got the math skills down maybe we can master the social skills of sharing.

Valentine's Day
Last night we may have started a great tradition: dinner and a movie with other couples in the comfort of your own home. We watched Fireproof and I made some barbecue in the Crockpot. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. We even had wine and the Captain. Grandma did let the B-word slip in front of the grand kids, but we let it slide due to the wine, especially since she was truly repentant. She learned that from Kirk Cameron.

She Says the Funniest things!
During breakfast, Andrea started saying, "Amen? Amen?" She reminded her heathen mother that she had to bless her food.
