It's been crazy around here today. Love life with two little ones. It is worth watching this first video just to hear Andrea call Charlie, "Sweetie Pie".

Stop Stepping on Me
Andrea is "DEALING" with Charles right now. He can move around and get all of her things. At first she would only get upset if he was playing with her favorite things: teddy, green blanket, and her buggy. Now whatever he has, she wants. She has gotten to where she needs to stop him so she'll just sit on him. Oh it gets better though, If she's desperate and he is moving too quickly sometimes she'll just place her foot on him and hold him down. Poor Charlie!

Mountain Retreat
We're back! We survived! We had a blast! We got little sleep starting Friday night since we had to get up at 5 a.m. to get donuts from Krispie Kreme before leaving at 6a.m. We drove to the gorge and hiked. Annie actually hiked most of the 2 mile hike down including the stairs. She's a trooper. A little cross-coutry runner after my heart. It's cute right now because John will run backwards and he says, " Look I'm Mater!" She starts running faster and says, "KACHOW...McQueen! Mc Queen!" We had adoration both nights up at the lodge. During the day we practiced music with some of the guys and they lead the fast music for Praise and Worship. John made them, saying, "I've gotta retire some day!" They did awesome. Hopefully they will continue to lead music at 6:00 mass now too. Tubing, swimming, running in the fields, and paint balling. Gotta love the lodge in Helen! Annie even got to ride a horse with Maura. Sorry no pictures of this because it was kinda spontaneous. Here are some other pics though!

Annie and the Potty
Annie is potty-trained now and she cracks me up with her potty talk. Whenever we are in public and she has to go potty we have the most wonderful "girl talk" in the stalls.
"Mommy you have to go potty too?"
"You gonna go pee pees and get a candy?"
"Yeah mama you did it! You get a cookie!"
Thank you Lord for children. It is so much easier now to practice humility.

Charlie and His Buddy Willam
It is nice that Charlie has someone his age and size (HAHA) around! Shea and Eric were in town last weekend so John's friends from high school got together. It's funny that we have to have friends come from Pennsylvania to get everyone in Augusta together. We had a nice time swimming and of course Charlie had fun with his buddy Willam (Wouter and Anna's baby boy).

Our Big Boy is 9 months old !
Charlie had his 9-month appointment today.
Weight: 21lbs. 15oz. (75%) Height: 28" (50%)
Annie went with us too to get her flu spray and one shot that she couldn't get at her 2 year check up because she had not waited long enough since the last dose. She kept saying, "Where's the doctor? I am going to give him a big hug and a kiss." She must have said this 4 or 5 times while waiting. In between her saying this, she did hear a baby crying and ran, opened the door, and said, "I am going to go get him and hold him." to which I told her that his mommy would hold him. Then she went back to asking for the doctor.
Finally Dr. Miller came to our room. Andrea turns to him and says,....................................
"Where's the doctor?" Dr. Miller laughed and said, "She'll be here soon." (He thought it would be okay to let her think the doctor was the nurse giving the shots.) We all had a good laugh.
