Annie is potty-trained now and she cracks me up with her potty talk. Whenever we are in public and she has to go potty we have the most wonderful "girl talk" in the stalls.
"Mommy you have to go potty too?"
"You gonna go pee pees and get a candy?"
"Yeah mama you did it! You get a cookie!"
Thank you Lord for children. It is so much easier now to practice humility.

Charlie and His Buddy Willam
It is nice that Charlie has someone his age and size (HAHA) around! Shea and Eric were in town last weekend so John's friends from high school got together. It's funny that we have to have friends come from Pennsylvania to get everyone in Augusta together. We had a nice time swimming and of course Charlie had fun with his buddy Willam (Wouter and Anna's baby boy).

Our Big Boy is 9 months old !
Charlie had his 9-month appointment today.
Weight: 21lbs. 15oz. (75%) Height: 28" (50%)
Annie went with us too to get her flu spray and one shot that she couldn't get at her 2 year check up because she had not waited long enough since the last dose. She kept saying, "Where's the doctor? I am going to give him a big hug and a kiss." She must have said this 4 or 5 times while waiting. In between her saying this, she did hear a baby crying and ran, opened the door, and said, "I am going to go get him and hold him." to which I told her that his mommy would hold him. Then she went back to asking for the doctor.
Finally Dr. Miller came to our room. Andrea turns to him and says,....................................
"Where's the doctor?" Dr. Miller laughed and said, "She'll be here soon." (He thought it would be okay to let her think the doctor was the nurse giving the shots.) We all had a good laugh.

Our Two little Blessings
John and I were fixing last minute touch ups on the kitchen. We came in the living room to find our little ones playing.
Then we went to the Lowes to buy wooden blinds for the kitchen. Andrea entertained Charlie while we shopped.
Uncle Matt we hope you enjoy this video of your neice and nephew on your birthday.

We're Cookin Together
Andrea helped me husk the corn for dinner. She kept saying, "You gotta RRRRIP it!" She pulled each leaf down and tossed it into the trash can. All of a suddent, she exclaims............................................................"OH CORN!"
Charlie helped too! Charlie was watching us and trying to walk over to the trash can in his walker to eat the bag. After a few minutes, Andrea went potty and I was helping her wash her hands. We came back to find this

On the Move
Here is Charlie's first attempt at scootin that I posted last week and with Charlie moving now he somehow managed to unpost it when he got to the keyboard.
I'll get him on video today so you can see all the progress he's making!

Too Many Choices!
What to choose? What to choose? At dinner this evening, we lined the condiments in a row and asked Annie the color of each of the sauces. To which she responded, "Red" (Ketchup), "Green" (Relish), and "Yellow" (Mustard). Next we asked her which color she wanted to which she responded "PURPLE!"
We had a good laugh.

Uncle Steve and Uncle Philip
My brothers got here yesterday. They've been making Annie laugh nonstop. I was bummed because I had book club last night (Best one yet...We laughed so hard the whole night that my stomache muscles actually felt sore when I got home), so I did not get to catch up with them when they first got here but they had a fun guys night. We went to IHOP this morning for a huge pancake platter breakfast. We took the kids to the park in the morning for a little while. The rest of the day, well into the evening, my brothers helped John sand down and restain the kitchen cabinets. They look amazing. I will post pics tomorrow!

A Day for the Mommies!
Today Gina and I got together so that we could have a day for ourselves. Sure we told the girls that we wanted them to play together but Gina and I knew in the back of our minds what was really happening. The girls got to color in coloring books and "TRADE" (haha) toys. They really did play well together and Emma was so patient with Annie as she is trying to figure out this sharing thing. We ate pizza and the girls enjoyed Einsteins. It was a great morning and now only a few more hours left in the afternoon till we can drop the kiddies on their daddies. Just kidding, well sort of.
