My birthday gift

I was awakened this morning by a thumping sound. I went upstairs to see Charles naked, jumping on his bed. He had just taken his diaper off to pee all over the floor. I guess my first birthday gift today was a dry diaper and Charles in his birthday suit saying, "I SO CRAZY MAMA!" I did get a nice breakfast from my husband this morning and God will bless me with a new niece so it will be a great day I'm sure.

Happy Birthday Uncle Matt!!!!

We love and miss you!!!!

Visit with our Cousins

Kaitlyn told Aunt Mary how much she wanted to go to Aunt Mary's house so we had the benefit of seeing Emma and Kaitlyn as well. Aunt Mary and John played guitar for awhile so the girls and Charlie played together.

Emma and Kaitlyn adoring Maggie as they anxiously await their baby sister.

Annie and Emma enjoy hugging each other over and over again. The sight is histerical. Here is a video.

A Relaxing Sunday

Maggie was taking a nap so Annie of course grabs a blanket and pillow to join her sister.

Most Sundays, Grandmama has off so she comes and relaxes with us for a few hours.

Coco didn't care to relax so Charlie chased him and John played fetch with him.

The Baptism of Our Little Margaret Mary

Margaret Mary was baptised on the First Friday of August, August 5th. (It was the desire of our Lord Jesus Christ, revealed to Saint Margaret Mary, that the first Friday of each month be consecrated to the devotion to and adoration of His most Sacred Heart.)

Sleeping Beauty

This girl sleeps a lot and makes it look good.
Beatiful outfit from Uncle Brian and Aunt Gina

This is the Life!!! (Aunt Mary has told Maggie this every time she holds her. I think that she is taking Aunt Mary's advice.)

Annie wanted to sleep with baby Maggie today so we put her in the boppy. The two girls love napping together.

More Funny Annieisms

1.) Many of you have heard this story but I want to document it so we can laugh about the story again many years from now. Annie was at Aunt Mary's cottage. She said, "Aunt Mary, it is the strangest thing. We have a DOG HOUSE in our back yard, but we don't have a DOG. It's the strangest thing."

2.) Annie was making me pretend drinks. She said that I could have coke, cherry lemonade, or french vanilla. I said that I would have some french vanilla. She said oh I don't have that ingredient. I will have to go to the store to get some vanilla. Oh and I forgot that I also have to go to the store to get some FRENCH.

3.) Annnie got bit by a fireant today. Aunt Angela was trying to console her. Annie said that the ants were all really mean for trying to bite her. Angela told her that the ants in Ohio did not bite like the ones in Georgia. Annie said "Yeah, but the ants in Ohio are all under iceburgs. They try to get in their home, but then it snows, so it covers their home and they can't get out."

Special Moment with Daddy

I love these pictures of John and Maggie. :)

Holding our New Baby Sister

Yesterday Charlie asked to hold Maggie. Once he was holding her, Annie hopped on the couch next him and wanted a turn. We passed Maggie back and forth as her brother and sister adored, hugged, and kissed her. All of a sudden, Maggie closed her eyes and took a nap as her siblings continued to pass her back and forth.

Here are pictures from when they each held Maggie for the first time.

Charlie was precious. John said that he kept and opening and closing his hands to pat her arms as if he wanted to keep her calm and happy.

(It looks like Charlie is thinking, "Whoa! I'm not the baby anymore!)But the next picture makes me think that he is okay with having a little sister around.
