Annie's Visit

We love having Annie. We wish that she would move to Georgia, but we know how much God is using her in Conneticut and at home on Long Island so we embrace every moment with reckless abandon when she's around. We got to play music and sing (My annual guitar practice). Our little Andrea ran around strumming everyone's strings and then folded her hands together to pray the whole time.
While Chris and Annie were in town, we got the opportunity to serve together again because my friend Michelle asked us to do Family Adoration. Chris Ortega and John played guitar and sang. Annie lead the vocals since she taught us a song she does at home for Adoration. I played piano and my brother, Sarah and my mom played with the kids. It is really a blessing to me that I can serve the Lord with my best friends. I am so grateful to God for them.

The Zoo

We had so many visitors this week. Thus the reason there haven't been any blogs. I don't even know where to start. The Columbia Zoo was definitely one of the highlights.

Feeding the Parakeets

We got to feed the parakeets nectar.

Our Little Parrot

Well, we are officially at the stage where we have to be careful of what we say. Andrea now says things like, "What are you doing man?" John says this to Charles when he looks like he is attempting to leap out of his bumbo to eat our food at the dinner table. "Too funny! and "Too cute!" like we tell her whenever she does anything cute. My favorite phrase of hers right now is "Got See!" It took us awhile to figure it out, but I say, "Golly!" when I get hurt or something happens that I did not mean for to happen. It's really cute when she says it because she acts like a huge ham and smacks her leg as she says it because she knows we will just burst out laughing. Next time you are around her, just start talking and I bet a few minutes later you will hear some familiar words.

LOCK-IN FUN

John, Amy, and I helped out with the middle school lock-in. Michael told us to just bring Andrea along because there would be inflatables. Andrea was in heaven from
7:30p.m. to well ummmmm...11:30p.m. Okay so we were not the best parents Friday night, but when you see the pictures you'll see why we couldn't leave

She loved jumping, but the slide not so much. It really was steep enough to make your stomach flutter a little bit.

Mothers Day

We had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend. We spent Saturday at Kaitlyn's baptism and then Brian and Gina had the whole family over for cake. It was a combination baptism reception and Rose Mother's Day celebration so all the moms could be home relaxing on Mother's Day. The children loved running through the sprinkler and sliding down the slide onto the slip and slide.
Today John made me breakfast in bed, french toast, sausage, fruit, and juice. Then we went to the Greenway for a bike ride with my mom. John came up with the idea this week and I really had a nice time. Then we had a picnic lunch and all came home and took naps. Now we are off to 6:00 mass.

Andrea, when you read this down the road, I want you to know how much you continuously make mommy laugh. You bring tears to my eyes every time I think about how sweet you are. I am so grateful for you. MMMMMMAAA! Big Kisses!
Charles, when you read this I want you to know that we love you and your sister adores you. She continuously says, "That's my baby brother. Love him! (while giving him a hug)Then she says, "He's heavy!" and we all laugh. It never gets old. I am so thankful you are here with us. I adore you so much I could just eat you up!
Love,
MOM

Elmo

Charles really likes his Elmo center. Elmo sings and dances. Then he hides and jumps out and says peek-a-boo baby. It is so exciting that Andrea wants to watch Elmo too! Here are some pics of the two little ones chillin with Elmo.
