Sister Bonding Time

Annie asked if she could lay in the bed with Maggie while she was napping. Annie was oooing and aahing over Maggie. A few minutes later she fell asleep while staring at her.

Thank you!

We just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all the help over these past few days since the delivery. Annie and Charlie have felt so loved by everyone as John and I have been busy adjusting to taking care of a newborn again. As you can see from the picture below our kids have not been deprived of attention or fun times.

Click on these two links to see what our kids did while waiting for Maggie!

Nightly Exercises

Our kids have been acting extra silly with being inside all the time from the 100 degree weather. John has started doing exercises with the kids every night to let them get rid of some energy.

Doody Song

Our kids have so much energy they are going crazy. The weather has been 100 degrees so we've been indoors a lot. Thus Annie has been making up the silliest songs and dances.

My Life with Annie and Chores Sometimes

The upstairs is quite messy right now with toys. To the point where I am a little nervous about the kids tripping over things and hurting themselves. I told Annie, she needed to help me clean the toys but she said that there was just too big of a mess. I responded, "Well I guess we should try to get rid of some toys then." She still did not want to help so I continued, "If you do not want to help give them to other little kids, mommy will clean up and put them in the trash can." Annie said, "OKAY OKAY I WILL GET RID OF...........THE TRASH CAN!"

"Happy Birthday July"

I forgot to post this 4th of July video but it is super cute!

Bubbles

Annie got the most wonderful birthday present: a bubble machine. She and Charlie had so much fun chasing the bubbles. It's been so hot for the kids to go out and play so it feels like it's been forever since we've taken the kids outside to play, especially to the park. This was a nice morning activity John and I had with the kids before it got too hot.

Tool Time

Well with Baby Maggie on the way, and we all know that she'll be here before we know it, it's project time around our house again. With Charlie 2 and a half we haven't thought about baby-proofing in a while. The other night we pulled up Excel again to start the lists and prioritize them since the reality is that they will not all get done before Maggie is here. We did manage to find the infant car seats and bases, bouncy seat, and a box of clothes for me to wash. With Charlie I was so concerned about clothes since he was born in November and cold but with Maggie: 1.) It's 100 degrees everyday so she can just chill in a diaper and
2.) She and Annie's birthdays are so close that the month to season clothing should match up pretty well for those first few months. Well we are getting excited and Charlie is very escatic about projects and tool time with his daddy!

Annie's 4-yr. Checkup

Annie's appointment went well. We made it through 5 shots and a finger prick today. Yuck!

She is 38 lbs. (75%) and 41 3/8 inches (3 1/2 feet) (75%) I guess now we should go to some waterparks since she can go on the slides that you have to be 40 inches. She is still nice and tall. Maybe one day she will play volleyball like her mommy and all her aunts. :)

Annie's Princess Party

Princess Annie, Princess Sela, and Princess Katera await the other princesses to arrive.
The beautiful Rapunzel gown is from Grandma and Papa. They gave her the dress, hair (which she constantly wears now and brushes it so it will play the song from the movie.), and brush earlier in the day so she could be the most stylin princess at the party.

All the kids enjoyed the pool and sprinkler on this hot summer evening.

Uncle Philip got her a really cool dollhouse that you build and color with accesseries. She spent two hours the next day putting it together and decorating it.

~Annie's new favorite My Little Pony with shoes and hair brush~
She was so excited to take some of her ponies including her new one to share with her cousins at her Aunt Mary's party the next day. She remembered how her cousin Savannah brought a pony to the last party which she and Annie played with the whole night.

The Pretty Pretty Princess Game!!! My sister and I loved this game and now Annie has her own Princess Aurora (Her favorite Disney princess)version of the game.

Annie is so into cooking right now. She told Aunt Mary that she can't cook because her kitchen upstairs doesn't have an oven. Aunt Mary's birthday task among a 20 minute discussion of other items was to get her an oven so she could cook in her kitchen.

Annie models one of the two aprons she got for her birthday. Her Aunt Angela hand-painted an apron with roses and her name on it. The one she is wearing in this photo was made by my friend Tina, Ayden's mom.

Annie loved this swimming baby from the Ciamellos. She puts her in p.j.'s every night and then back into her swimsuit in the morning so they can swim together.

THE CAKE
Annie baked and decorated the cake. She even placed most of the star sprinkles individually on the letters. And of course she added the princess fairy wand candles to the cake at the end.

Love Love Love the photo below of my precious 4-year old girl!!!

With all the attention on Annie, Charlie became a cuddle bug with mommy for the night.
