Cute Story

I know that I told many of you this story and maybe I even blogged about it before. Since I can't remember and Annie said it again the other day, I wanted to jot it down for memory sake. The ASU mascot is a jaguar. The other day Annie saw the ASU campus bus pull up next to us and said, "Look mom it's a clue!" I laughed as I saw the blue paw print drive past us.

Nature Walk

Last week Tina told us about a Nature Walk at a nearby park. I didn't even know that the park existed. The nature guide taught the kids about the different stages of frogs and salamanders. Then they made "Hoppy Valentine's Day" cards.

I'm not sure if Charlie is excited about the turtles or his little buddy.

Annie wore the appropriate shirt for the day. I would like to think that I am so organized that I planned that.

Ayden's Finished Product

The kids had to act out different stages of each animal's life and then they did scavenger hunts throughout the walk to find pictures of Georgia wildlife.

A Cute Outdoor Photo Op

When Annie saw this picture she said, "Ayden was so sweet to let me sit by him."

They look so serious in this picture. You wouldn't think that 2 seconds before this they were sprinting around the Nature Center.

Super Bowl

Since it was going to be nice out Sunday evening we decided we would have people over to grill and then watch the game. We had a really fun time eating hotdogs, brats, chips, and grandma's yummy taco soup. We watched the first half in the living room and then went outside for the half time show and s'mores. The kids had a good time jumping on the trampoline and walking Cocoa.

Where's Charlie?

I was washing dishes this week and watching Charlie play in the back yard. He was under the patio and then I looked up again and did not see him. I looked around the backyard and knew that he couldn't have gone that far since I just saw him. I went back under the patio and then I saw him. MY LITTLE CINDERCHARLIE!

Videos from Swimming

Annie on the water slide. She was timid at first and did not want to try, but then she went down once and did not want to stop.

Sorry this video is bouncy, but it was the only video of Charlie Bear.

Annie liked turning the wheel to make the water come out of the pipe, but did not want to get sprayed by it. She did go under the waterfall though but I didn't get a video since I was under the waterfall with her.

Uncle Steven and Charlie

At the end of the day, our kids are not ready for bed. They would rather run, swing, jump, and wrestle. Especially when they have their uncles around to instigate.

Walking the Dogs

The kids walked the dogs around the circle of the house. The dogs got their exercise this week. At the end, Angela asks Annie if she wants to make chocolate chip cookies. Annie hesitates for a second and then it registers what her aunt said. The dogs will just have to wait for their walk until after the COOKIES!
