Time at the Park

We've had serious cabin fever in this house during these 100 degree summer months. Now that the weather is getting cooler we've been able play outside. Each morning after dropping off Andrea, Monica and I have been running with the 2 kids in the running stroller. After we finish, we let Charlie and Maggie walk on the path along the lake and and throw rocks in the water. This time of year brings the cool weather and also pecans so if we see any along the path we collect them for snacking and cooking.

The other day, my mom and I took the kids to a park that had motorcycles, twisty ladders, and as Annie called it "a slide tunnel". The kids played for a couple hours nicely together as they enjoyed the change of scenery of a new park.
